Remember When

This Book was created through the inspiration and integration of what was said in the survey, taking into account the extra material sent to me in our discussions. I was sent a ‘remember when’ journal where she documented moments of abuse no matter how big or small. 

It is the idea of keeping a reminder of the abuse close to you in something as personal as a cellphone that I focused. I thought that the writing was so powerful so I chose to leave it as it was and created a website so that when you scan the QR code it takes you to this journal. 

The idea was to bring it into YOUR personal space and it becoming this overwhelming accumulation of accounts of abuse. Allowing abuse to be brought back to the every day instead of only big acts of violence. It creates that intimate space where we read of intimate and private moments.
