This Book was created through the inspiration and integration of what was said in the survey, taking into account what she wanted. This book was mostly fueled by what she said in her survey, about drawing a mass of hate with charcoal and having a tunnel as imagery.  

I kept to this by focusing on the materiality of charcoal and how this medium would react to being handled. It is mostly the functionality of this book that matters, as you page through this book the charcoal begins to cover your hands and the whites of the pages. 

Paging through the 13 pages referencing the 26 years of marriage and the last two white pages referencing the years of divorce. it speaks to the idea of the acts of the past still affect the people around those who experienced and the people around them.
